About Lizzie.

Lizzie Renkert is a storyteller, brand builder and creative director with a career spanning top-tier magazines, global fashion and boutique creative consulting. She began her career in journalism at marie claire, working in the features department for nine years across roles including features writer, commissioning editor and photo shoot producer.

She then joined madison magazine, first as deputy editor and later as editor, where she helped shape the title’s voice and vision. During her time at madison, Lizzie was instrumental in the concept and execution of the White Shirt Campaign with Witchery, raising vital funds and awareness for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation – a campaign that continues today.

After magazines, Lizzie co-founded fashion label We Are Kindred with her sister, Georgie, building the brand from scratch into a successful global business. Together they produced beautiful campaign shoots, showed at fashion week and exhibited at international trade shows before successfully negotiating the sale of the brand four years ago.

Lizzie then refined her skills in social media and branding at The Edge Collective, before launching Lizzie Renkert Creative in 2025. Today, she partners with design-led and lifestyle businesses to marry her love of storytelling with a deep understanding of what it takes to own and run a small business.
